Fuzzy Circuit MPPT for PV Installations

The performance of photovoltaic (PV) modules is impacted by a number of variables, including solar radiation as well as system temps. In order to maximize power production from solar panels despite changing weather conditions, Maximum Point Tracking actuators must be used. Perception and Observation (P&O) is the approach that controllers that use MPPT have traditionally preferred. Resonance issues, however, plague it close to the functioning point. As a solution to this issue, this study proposes the planning and simulation of a fuzzy controller that works with the aim to track the maximum electrical output of the PV system. Using Simulink or Mat the PV section, buck converters, and fuzzy regulator of a 65 W PV system were modelled. An essential component of this research is the creation of a computational framework for the photovoltaic module that simplifies the calculation of fitted curve factors in comparison to diode-based models. In addition, a P&O operator was developed for comparison to the results obtained by the controller that is fuzzy. The increased performance of the fuzzy controller is adequately shown by simulation outcomes.
