IoT-Based Water Quality Monitoring System: Ensuring Health and Well-Being

The adoption of modern technologies through Industry 4.0 transformed the global ecosystem digitally. The fourth industrial revolution has the ability to enhance human life in numerous manners including water quality. Pollution control, eliminating contamination, minimizing the release of dangerous chemicals, and recycling and reuse of wastewater are the key factors to improve the quality of water which helps to lead a healthy life. The current study focuses on the application of Industry 4.0 emerging with technologies in water quality management, such as environmental protection; health improvement; and the development of digital transformation which increases the efficiency and accuracy in real-time monitoring. Finally, a framework is recommended, and a few suggestions for further research work.
