Inrush Current Identification Method of Power Plant Transformer Based on Energy Consumption Ratio

With the rapid development of the power industry, electrical equipment in power plants plays a vital role in the power supply and control system. Inrush current excitation is an important power quality problem that can lead to equipment damage, system failure and even accidents. In this paper, an inrush current identification method for transformers in power plants based on energy consumption ratio is proposed, the characteristics of inrush currents are analyzed, and an inrush current analysis model for transformers in power plants is constructed. Finally, the inrush current identification of power plant transformer based on energy consumption ratio is simulated and analyzed. Experimental results show that the proposed strategy can significantly improve the stability and anti-interference ability of electrical equipment, and effectively reduce equipment damage and downtime caused by power quality problems.
