Photodetector based on Hybrid Perovskite CH3NH3PbI3/TiO2 Heterojunction

This paper presents a succinct report on $\mathrm{TiO}_{2}/\mathrm{CH}_{3}\mathrm{NH}_{3}\mathrm{PbI}_{3}$ heterojunction-based device fabricated on an indium tin oxide (ITO) substrate. The sol-gel method was used to synthesize the perovskite CH

NH
3
PbI
3
and TiO
2
nanoparticles. The tetragonal crystal phase of CH
3
NH
3
PbI
3
and the rutile phase of TiO
2
were confirmed by the XRD characterization. When excited with a 403 nm wavelength, an efficient photoluminescence peak was seen at $\sim 775\mathrm{nm}$ in pristine CH
3
NH
3
PbI
3
and $\mathrm{TiO}_{2}/\mathrm{CH}_{3}\mathrm{NH}_{3}\mathrm{PbI}_{3}$ thin films at room temperature. Lastly, the electrical and optical response of the $\mathrm{TiO}_{2}/\mathrm{CH}_{3}\mathrm{NH}_{3}\mathrm{PbI}_{3}$-based heterojunction device was examined.
