Software Fault Localization using Jaya Algorithm

Localizing the software faults is a complex and time consuming task during software development process. Spectrum based fault localization (SBFL) models are used to solve this problem. However, the existing SBFL models do not consider multi-faults in a software. In this paper, we propose a Jaya algorithm based framework for multi- fault localization in software. We have validated our framework on six multi-fault programs and compared the performance with existing SBFL models. The experimental results demonstrated that our proposed framework is providing better performance than some compared models using single fault as well as multi-fault programs.
