Artificial Pancreas (AP) in Diabetes Patient based On TLBO Algorithm

This work covers the development of a Teaching Learning Based Optimization PID (TLBO-PID) control that administers optimal insulin dosages via an AP in TIDM patients to regulate blood glucose levels. The proposed patient model's BG control is improved by adjusting the controller gains using the TLBO. Using this conventional controller with TLBO, patients with glycemic management issues brought on by nonlinear properties in the patient model should be able to better regulate their blood sugar levels. By employing an AP-based TLBO, the nonlinear characteristics of patient models may be effectively managed, and blood sugar levels can be kept with reference to the glycemic scale. The stability, robustness, accuracy, noise elimination, and boosted capability to handle uncertainty are looked into for the suggested patient model which has been used with TLBOA-PID Data from several control systems are compared, and the results showed a positive sequence, that the suggested approach performs better in terms of control.
