Research on In-line Inspection Technology of Sub-high Pressure Urban Gas Pipeline

The urban gas pipe network has become the main channel of gas supply in modern cities. In the long-term use process, urban gas pipeline will generate various safety hazards. Magnetic flux leakage in-line inspection is widely used in the inspection of high-pressure urban gas pipeline, but in the in-line inspection of sub-high pressure urban gas pipeline, unstable speed, pig stuck, and pig stoppage are prone to occur. This article introduces an in-line inspection designed based on the principle of electromagnetic eddy current, and applies it to a sub-high pressure urban gas pipeline. The inspection effect is good, which has reference significance for the in-line inspection of sub-high pressure urban gas pipeline.
