Study and Controlling of Distillation Column Via Various Schemes

This paper compares controllers results to achieve desired output products compositions. Wood and berry mathematical model used to control, which has a methanol-water (CH

0) mixture as a feed. The major problem in this model is interactions between the loops. For eliminate these interactions we are using decoupling and MPC. We have used Simulation to shows the result of controller. The various schemes are conventional decoupling, fuzzy forward decoupling and MPC. The conventional decoupling and fuzzy forward decoupling used PI controller whereas other one is uses MPC.
