Research on Broadband Metamaterial Absorbers Based on Three-Dimensional Pyramid Arrays

In recent years, research on solar energy absorbers has made significant breakthroughs in addressing the energy crisis. This article uses the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) analysis method to simulate the optical absorption of three-dimensional pyramid-shaped metamaterials. The results indicate that the light absorption efficiency of the pyramid array structure achieved an average absorption rate of 99.03% in the range from 215nm to 2519nm, representing an improvement of 36.35% compared to the two-dimensional structure. The solar energy absorber proposed in this study holds promising prospects in fields such as solar energy harvesting and photothermal conversion.
