Simulation for the Electromagnetic Scattering and SAR Image of Multi-Source Ocean Waves

This paper primarily focuses on the electromagnetic scattering and SAR imaging of multi-source waves, highlighting their distinctions from purely random wind waves. The simulation of the SAR images of the internal waves are given as instance. Based on a wave model that incorporates both internal waves and ambient wind waves acquired from hydrodynamic simulations, the modulation facet scattering model (MFSM) is utilized to estimate the ocean surface's electromagnetic scattering characteristics. This enables a comprehensive exploration into the dynamic interplay between wave currents and electromagnetic scattering. The modified model, which incorporates the influence of wave current effect between multisource waves, provides a more accurate description of sea surface scattering distribution.
