Modeling and simulation of marine oil separator based on Matlab

In order to develop a high-precision marine oil separator simulation system, a simulation model of the oil separator is built for the application of virtual simulation test and verification and training exercises, so as to realize the intuitive display of the separation and purification effect. By analyzing the working principle of typical marine oil separator, the mathematical models of oil separator production capacity, light liquid flow, oil, heavy liquid outlet pressure and fuel viscosity are established respectively, and each model is combined into a oil separator purification model. In the Matlab/Simulink simulation environment, the fuel data of different oil products are used as the input of the model for simulation test, and the experimental data such as purified oil (light liquid) oil and drainage (heavy liquid) outlet pressure at different times are obtained. The simulation results show that the established model can accurately reflect the separation operation effect of the ship oil separator, which has important reference significance for the design, debugging and control method of the ship fuel purification system.
