Electric Vehicle Battery Charging in Grid System using Fuzzy based Bidirectional Converter

The implementation of electric vehicles (EVs) into photovoltaic (PV) grid systems has received a lot of interest as the globe moves towards a more sustainable energy environment. When it comes to electric transportation, battery charging and recharging are crucial because of the impact they have on the vehicle’s dynamic performance. Using a fuzzy-based bidirectional converter in a PV grid system, this research proposes a unique technique to increase the efficiency with which EV batteries are charged. With its fuzzy logic controller (FLC), the bidirectional converter optimizes charging and discharging operations by controlling the flow of electricity between the PV array, the EV battery, and the grid. In this research, the FLC, a flexible system that can adjust to different settings and loads, is examined in depth. The result shows the enhanced efficacy of the suggested system in terms of charging speed, energy efficiency, and grid interaction via modeling and experimental data. The described method shows possibilities for facilitating the incorporation of EVs into grids powered by renewable energy sources (RES), thereby making transportation systems greener and more sustainable.
