Research on Transfer Characteristics of Capacitive Voltage Transformer based on PRONY Algorithm

Capacitive voltage transformer is the main equipment for monitoring the voltage of substation, integrating voltage transformation, voltage division, measurement, protection, measurement and coupled carrier functions, the higher the grade, the higher the fundamental measurement accuracy, stronger insulation reliability, more ideal transient response characteristics, smaller maintenance workload and stronger economy. At the same time, it can be used as a coupling capacitor in wire carrier communication, becoming the first choice for high-voltage substations. In order to better study the transfer characteristics of capacitive voltage transformers, the PRONY algorithm is introduced in this paper. The results show that the capacitive voltage transformer can accurately measure the fundamental voltage signal, the voltage signal conversion accuracy is high, which meets the national measurement requirements, and the accuracy of the measurement result is less affected by the frequency change. When some frequency transformers have a large transformation ratio, the transient voltage signal error and harmonic measurement error will be increased, and the transmission characteristics of capacitive voltage transformers can be effectively improved after using this algorithm.
