IoT-Driven Holistic Sleep Aid System

Sleep is a vital part of human health and an essential part of our daily lives. Sleep aids provide a range of solutions for people with sleep problems. This research study presents a holistic sleep aid system in response to the many issues that sleep disorders present. The Sleep Aid System uses the Internet of Things (IoT) to remotely access and monitor vital sleep-related data, such as body temperature. The system utilizes the power of the ATmega328P microcontroller to orchestrate precise environmental adjustments. Integrating the NodeMCU with an ESP8266 chip significantly extends the system's capabilities, allowing for remote monitoring and control. In addition, a strategically placed Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor enhances sleep quality by detecting motion during sleep cycles. This thoughtfully crafted hardware configuration forms the foundation of the Sleep Aid system, granting users precise control over their sleep environment while enabling comprehensive sleep monitoring. In conclusion, our research study demonstrates the possibilities of hardware-driven approaches for dealing with one of the cornerstones of human well-being: sound, peaceful sleep.
