AES Encryption for Secure Storage and Transfer of Patient Health Records using Blockchain Technology

The thesis emphasises the critical role that cryptography-more especially, AES and DES encryption-plays in protecting private communications transmitted over wireless channels, especially when it comes to safely preserving patient health records. The suggested solution uses a blockchain network and AES/DES encryption to guarantee data transformation traceability and foster patient and healthcare provider trust. It deals with problems with centralised Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, which may lead to fragmented medical records across multiple organisations and serve as a single point of failure, which could lead to incorrect diagnoses. The primary thesis is to develop a blockchain-based system for the safe trading and storing of vital health assets. It describes the characteristics, benefits, and uses of encryption methods, with a focus on the AES and DES algorithms' use for secure server and user communication.
