Integrating online platforms and offline classrooms to promote English learning efficiency

The development of technology is changing people's traditional learning and living patterns, and promoting the reform of all business activities, including education. In the Internet era, the second language learning mode is undergoing profound changes. The traditional offline mode has begun to switch to the online mode. As a new English learning mode, online English learning platforms have both opportunities and challenges. The statistical analysis of questionnaire data shows that online English learning platform can promote online learning and improve second language learners' English skills. The paper raised an integrated model for second language learning online and offline and pointed out that both online platforms and offline classrooms are indispensable learning systems for second language learning. In this integrated system, it is necessary to strengthen interactive teaching and effectively leverage the leading role of teachers in online classrooms.
