Two-Factor Authentication with Backup Codes for Webspace

From the beginning, authentication was just a simple email and password and it is unbelievably still used in majority systems, where organizations rely on their users to use a simple password for gaining any access to the system. With people using repetitive passwords and not hiding their passwords causes a chance of compromising one or more systems. This research paper aims to move further from that issue by using technologies at our disposal so that systems in different organizations would not have the risk of being compromised. It would also show how it does not require a lot of effort from the user. Furthermore, there are several researchers which have shown many ways to minimize the current issues which the implementation of the technology. The proposal system aims to be innovated as much as possible, while not affecting the usability towards to users. The solution will solely focus on legitimizing users so as to reduce the risk of compromising the organization. This paper would discuss about the technology in depth, the impact it will have and the benefits it would have towards the current organization.
