A review of Chatbots development and utilization for Admission in Mae Fah Luang University

This research aims to study the development and utilization of chatbots that will apply to Mae Fah Luang University (MFU) admission services. There are 28,523 applicants in the 2022 academic year and a high demand for admission inquiries, the university faces challenges in providing thorough and timely assistance to students, teachers, and parents. The proposed solution is to design a chatbot that can handle frequently asked questions and provide answering services at any time through text input. Therefore, The objective of this study includes an examination of chatbot development theory and guidelines, a comparative analysis of chatbot development using different tools, and an analysis of the format, structure, algorithm, and function of chatbots for admission services. The expected results include a better understanding of chatbot development for admission services and the creation of a successful chatbot for Mae Fah Luang University.
