Overview of Wireless Power Supply Technology for Electric Vehicles

This article introduces Electrical Vehicle Wireless Power Transfer (EV-WPT) technology in detail. By comparing with other charging methods, the necessity of EVWPT technology is highlighted, and the differences between electromagnetic induction wireless power supply and electromagnetic coupling resonant wireless power supply, dynamic wireless power supply system and static wireless power supply system are discussed in detail. On this basis, the research status of wireless power supply technology of electric vehicles home and abroad is introduced, and the research results of the wireless power transmission team of Chongqing University in the field of wireless power supply of electric vehicles are introduced in detail. Finally, the current problems and development prospects of the industry are discussed.
