Smart Energy Management System for Onion Preservation

One of the major crops cultivated all over the world is Onion. Onions are used in almost every cuisine around the world and it needs preservation for long-term storage. The dryness of the onion is generally determined by its humidity; it should be kept in a humidified environment. Moreover, Onion loss occurs as a result of temperature and humidity changes, and many diseases affect the onions. Onions are stored at a temperature ranging from 37 to 45 degree Celsius and humidity levels ranging from 60 to 70 percent. With the emerging technologies, Onions can be preserved autonomously. This research study proposes a novel system to save onions from all types of danger. Here, the onion monitoring system can be accessed by the customer using their mobile phone.
