Review on the Seismic Reliability Evaluation of Power Systems in China

This paper aims to conduct a review on the seismic reliability evaluation of power systems in China. It focuses on two main objects: the substation system and the ubran grids. The research methods include analytical methods, stochastic simulation methods, and probabilistic graphical methods. For different objects, some representative work are introduced. Meanwhile, the key scientific issues are summarized as follows: Seismic damage mechanisms and seismic resistant measures for different electric power equipment and facilities, seismic vulnerability analysis of different components in power systems, resilience assessment methods and enhancement theory for substation and urban grids, disaster propagation mechanism and quantitative modeling of interdependent infrastructures considering the influence of power systems.
