Study of Electric Drive Control System Speed-Optimized with Prediction of Jerk Value

Performance optimization is based on motion prediction. This goal is met by systems with constraints on internal coordinates. However, the jerk does not belong to the stabilized values in most structures of electric drives. In this study, a method for predicting the equivalent constant jerk for voltage stabilization intervals of a power converter is considered. With its use, an electric drive control system was synthesized by the N–i switching method, designed for speed optimization. The simulation of the transient characteristics of the system under the conditions of varying its settings and parameters of the control object has been performed. The results of the study testify to the effectiveness of the proposed optimization algorithm and indicate ways for further improvement of systems synthesized using it.
