Improving the Quality and Response Speed of the Frequency and Power Control Systems of the Hydraulic Turbines

The article is devoted to improving the quality of electricity produced by hydraulic power stations by ensuring high static and dynamic precision of automatic control systems of hydraulic turbines. Energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy meet the goals of sustainable development of the UN and ensure the sustainable development of the domestic energy industry. On the basis of solving the inverse problem of the dynamics of the automatic regulation system of the hydraulic turbine, a structural synthesis of a universal precision regulator capable of compensating static and dynamic regulation errors was performed. The developed scientific and technical solutions are capable of increasing the precision of frequency and power regulation of hydraulic units of hydraulic power stations (and, accordingly, the stability of the frequency of generated electricity) by 3-5 times (from 0.3 to 0.1-0.05%) and proving these indicators to the level of international standards.
