Investigation of Oscillatory Processes in Mechatronic Systems with a Robust H∞-controller

The article investigates oscillatory processes in mechatronic systems. It is shown that electromechanical oscillations are possible in the mechatronic system besides mechanical ones. One considers an electromechanical system where both types of oscillations can be observed. The unified structural scheme of the two-mass electromechanical system is given, resulting in the differential equation of motor rotor motion at a stepwise change of the control signal at the input. The article presents responses of the electromechanical system to the jump-like appearance of the control action when there is no mechanical damping and no mechanical damping and armature power supply from the current source.
