Event-Triggered Adaptive Control for First-Order Multi-agent Systems with Unknown Control Direction

This paper examines distributed cooperative control for Multi-agent Systems (MASs) interconnected by directed graphs. Each agent's dynamics are characterized by first-order dynamics, featuring unknown control directions and external disturbances. To handle with unknown directions, Nussbaum-type gain technique and adaptive control are applied in the design of consensus algorithm. Firstly, we give first-order MASs a consensus algorithm, which based on event-triggered mechanism. It is shown that use this consensus algorithm, the first-order MASs reach consensus ultimately, and are no continuous transmission of information. Finally, some numerical simulation is show the effectiveness of the consensus algorithm.
