Coordinated Day-ahead and Intra-day Operation of Distribution Networks Considering the Active Support of Distributed PV and Energy Storage System

This paper mainly proposes a strategy to optimize the economy and security of the daily operation of the distribution network by considering the active support of distributed photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage system (ESS) for day-ahead intra-day co-optimization of the distribution network. The first model is a day-ahead optimization model, which uses the operating cost as the optimization objective to put a day-ahead optimization scheme. The second model is an intra-day optimization model with weighted voltage deviation, line loss and active energy storage deviation as minimum objectives. According to the test studies, it is shown that this strategy can effectively reduce the operation cost of the distribution networks, and has an obvious easing effect on the voltage violation problem.
