Sliding-mode Model Predictive Control for PMSMs with Current Compensation

Model predictive control (MPC) methods are widely used in permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM); however, How to minimize the impact of system delay and motor parameter perturbation on the operation of PMSM is the key to constrain the MPC. To address the problem of current disturbance caused by system delay and motor parameter perturbation, we will propose a series of sliding modes to suppress current disturbances caused by above reasons. Besides, The PMSM model is used to analyse the causes of system delay. Then, the current disturbance caused by parameter perturbation is introduced into the adaptive sliding mode control algorithm for suppression, and the relevant theoretical proof is given. Finally, the effectiveness of the overall scheme is verified through simulations.
