Introducing the Concept of Personalized Digital Tourism (PDT)

Organizing a trip has become simpler and easier as a result of the huge transformation of the technology environment. As a result of the accelerated technological developments that surround us, today's man has also been completely transformed, new patterns of behaviour and new communication habits have been created. This is especially true for Generation Y and Z. Personalized services are key for them, which service providers can best achieve through the use of artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality These events triggered the creation of the concept of personalized digital tourism. PDT integrates the concept of CogInfoCom, Generation theories, DR, and AI concepts, to provide assistance for the tourism service providers to customize their products more effectively. This paper intrudes the concept of Personalised Digital Tourism. First the importance of the new concept is discussed. Then the theories of the elements of the new concept is introduced. The paper finally concludes the specific elements of the new concept on the tourism market.
