Voice Stimulated Inclusive Multiplayer Game Development with Speaker Recognition

Gaming technologies have now become an inseparable part of audio processing applications. Several innovations have been made to improve gaming experience. Now the user does not necessarily need a joystick to interact with the computer, his gestures and vocal stimuli can act as controllers. This study provides a novel solution towards developing inclusive games for all with the use of natural language processing and human computer interaction. We discuss the development of a multiplayer game that uses speaker recognition to differentiate between multiple player’s vocal stimuli, thus allowing players to play voice-controlled games on the same device in proximity.
