Feasibility analysis of vertically mounted BAPV solar on a multi-storied commercial building in Kolkata

This paper aims to analyze the feasibility of a BAPV-applied 758 kWp solar power plant placed on vertical building façades of a commercial building. eQUEST energy modeling tool is used here to get the energy consumption by different apparatus. PVsyst is used in this study to design and simulate the vertically mounted solar plant at the studied building situated at Newtown, Kolkata. This solar plant will be feasible for a long time of operation as per the results obtained from the study.
