A Rigid Body Simulation Optimization Algorithm Based on Adaptive Update

3D simulation is a crucial technology capable of emulating the movement and interactions of real-world objects, with extensive applications in industries and education, among other fields. However, achieving a multi-body system with constraints involving a considerable number of objects is a challenging problem. Based on this, this paper proposes an adaptive update based 3D simulation optimization method to improve the PGS iterative algorithm. Firstly, we initialize the thresholds during scene construction, and new thresholds are automatically set according to different scenes to handle the constraints in the set of objects. Then, we determine the optimal number of iterations based on the number of objects in the set during merging. Finally, an experimental environment is established for verification. The experiments show that our method reduces the average total computation time by 36% compared to the PGS method.
