A High-Resolution Frequency Estimation Method Based on Toeplitz Averaging

In this paper, a new high-resolution frequency estimation method based on Toeplitz averaging method is proposed. The data covariance matrix is reconstructed to improve the spectral resolution by using Toeplitz averaging processing, and the original data is denoised by the data preprocessing method based on the noise suppression gate. The noise suppression gate can be applied to other frequency estimation methods, but the improvement in frequency estimation is not obvious. Only by combining the Toeplitz averaging processing and noise suppression gate can a good frequency estimation effect be achieved. Simulation and experimental results show that the proposed method has a better frequency estimation effect.
