Focused Metasurface Based on Time Reversal in Complex Environments

This paper presents a time-reversal-based transmission metasurface capable of focusing in complex multipath environments. The proposed metasurface consists of amplitude and phase independently controlled units. By integrating the time-reversal algorithm with the metasurface, this study achieves electromagnetic focusing at single-point and multi-point locations in both free space and complex multipath environments. Simulation results demonstrate the feasibility of electromagnetic focusing in complex environments.
