α-β Filter With Optimal Filtering Noise Suppression Ratio Under Constant Prediction Steady State Error

This paper presents a design method for an α-β tracking filter that optimizes the filtering noise reduction ratio required for display while maintaining the predictive steady state error required for radar tracking. This filter gain equation is derived, and theoretically verified that the proposed method provides the smaller noise reduction compared with the conventional method, while maintain the same predictive steady state error.
