Model Mediated Research in Collaborative Space for Lifecycle on the Cloud

This paper introduces latest results in a formerly introduced model mediated research (MMR) based solution as answer for essentially changed requirements against research results in applied informatics and related applied mathematics regarding theories, methodologies, systemics, and virtual and physical tools. The venue of investigation, development, and implementation of results in this paper is the Virtual Research Laboratory (VRL) which was founded mainly to accommodate student research projects for PhD in the above branches of science. After discussion of most relevant preliminaries in the reported work, paper discusses a purposeful integrated scenario of research, resources to fulfill requirements against the planned research, relevant essential research activity model, role and place of behavior definitions in realization of MMR, integrated research results application, and connection of the virtual world of VRL with cooperating cyber physical structures.
