Logic-Based Trust Model for Industrial Cyber Intelligence with Enhanced Trustworthiness

This paper presents a logic-based trust model for industrial cyber intelligence, focusing on trust representation for both functionality and reliability. With the increasing integration of intelligent nodes and human operators in industrial sector, trustworthiness becomes crucial for collaboration, decision-making, and secure interactions. We highlight the limitations of existing trust models in addressing reliability in this domain. To address this, we propose a revised cognitive trust model that incorporates concomitant trust, maintenance goals, and condition-sensitive trust. Our model considers the trust cognition of intelligent nodes and human operators. The usage of the proposed model is demonstrated through scenarios in the maritime cyber intelligence context.
