Resonators Based on Two-Section Open-Circuited Stub

In a conventional two stubs resonator one-section open-circuited stubs are used. In the presented paper resonators based on a single two-section open-circuited stub is considered. Comparison of reactive characteristics of one- and two-section open-circuited stubs is performed. Two-section stub increase the quality factor, reduce the resonator length and expand the suppression band. The transmission responses of various variants of resonators based on two-section open-circuited stub are given.
