Highly-Sensitive Microwave Phase-Variation Permittivity Sensors

This paper summarizes the recent progress in reflective-mode phase-variation permittivity sensors carried out by the authors and emphasizes the main strategies for sensitivity optimization. It is also shown that losses might help to boost up the sensitivity provided the sensor is adequately designed.
