Strategies, Problems and Prospects of Refuse Management in Nile University of Nigeria Campus

Nile University is an environment for learning, so the school must adhere to the standards of the state to keep the environment conducive because it’s crucial for the health and well-being of the people living in the community. Despite the population, public enlightenment on environmental health should be carried out because improper refuse management can have serious consequences for public health and the environment. Unauthorized disposal of waste in areas not designated for waste disposal can influence the public’s health and the environment of Nile University. This study provides a systematic review of efforts to overcome these challenges in the context of inappropriate recycling protocols of waste and their toxic effects on human health and the environment. The questionnaire survey included several inquiries on recycling programs, awareness campaigns, and general satisfaction with the garbage management system. To ensure diversity across the university, a sample of students and employees from various departments was chosen.
