Wideband Passive Resistorless Negative Group Delay Circuit

The negative group delay circuits, with its counterintuitive and promising behavior, have for most cases two main drawbacks: the bandwidth of negative group delay shows signal amplitude attenuation; and limited bandwidth. On this paper, a novel model to increase the bandwidth of the NGD circuits based on fully distributed circuits is presented. This model presented a 3.22% bandwidth at 2.45 GHz with a -6.11 dB minimum S21 and a -1.76 ns maximum NGD. Its flat response region comprises a 1.59% bandwidth with a 79.54% quality factor.
