Analysis of MHD Effects in Conductive Fluid With Experimental Comparison

The phenomenon of magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) is the study of the behavior of a conductive fluid when it flows in the presence of an external magnetic field. This phenomenon can be found in a variety of equipment, both in everyday life and in the industrial environment, such as transformers or oil pipelines. The aim of this work is to analyze how the MHD phenomenon affects both mechanical and electromagnetic behavior, using computer simulations using the finite element method and the finite volume method. It also aims to develop a system for measuring magnetic field values using Hall effect sensors connected to an Esp32, which is a microcontroller chosen because it has high processing capacity and also has integrated Wi-Fi and Bluethoot connections on the board. In order not only to validate the use of the mathematical methods used in the simulations as a way of predicting the behavior of MHD, but also to understand in a more practical way how this phenomenon works and how it affects the flow of a conductive fluid and its electrical properties.
