MDRNN for Next-Gen Speech Synthesis

In the evolving realm of speech-to-speech synthesis, this study probes the potential of MDRNN in generating nuanced audio outputs. Harnessing the Mel-frequency cepstral coefficients (MFCCs) as a novel encoding scheme, our model demonstrated marked fidelity to original signals while introducing genuine creativity. Auditory examinations revealed non-repetitive sequences, some bearing semblances to coherent linguistic constructs. However, challenges, particularly unstable predictions and pronounced amplitude spikes, underlined the paramount importance of hyperparameter optimization. This research underscores the vast potential of MDRNN in speech synthesis and sets the stage for further exploration in achieving impeccable machine-generated speech.
