Designing an Interactive E-book of Three Views for Enhancing Students’ Spatial Ability

The study aimed to develop an interactive e-book of “Three Views” for enhancing Middle School Students’ Spatial Ability. To evaluate the interactive e-book, thirty-four seventh-grade students from northern Taiwan participated in this study. The participants were divided into two groups: while students in the experimental group studied the lesson using the interactive e-book, those in the control group used a conventional e-book. The results revealed that the interactive e-book learning mode had significant impacts on students’ spatial ability. It was also found that the richness of the content with visual and interactive elements provided in the interactive e-book increased the students’ satisfaction with the learning material.
