EEG Signals: Current trends and Future Aspects

Human Brain and its working has fascinated the scientists around the world since ages. Although the earlier research was majorly for spiritual purposes but it has been seen that human brain has been tested and tried on various criterion to make the scientist of that time to understand the functioning of it. With the evolution of the medical science and modern technologies, scientists have come a long way to give us a cure to some of the devastating diseases like Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, although the final cure is still a long step away but the studies have added a few more years to the human life. As we know that human brain emits Electroencephalogram Signals or simply the EEG signal, and these are linked with the various emotions linked with specific events. In this paper we will discuss the evolution in the studies of analysis of EEG signals that we have come across especially after the Second World War.
