Enhancing Ocular Health through Weariness Espial

In an age dominated by electronic devices, their usage is indispensable. Over the past decade, there is a big upsurge in their usage, and they have become a big part of our lives. As the usage of these devices are increasing in a rapid rate, there emerges an unintended consequence, which is digital eye strain. Spending a lot of time looking at screens can make our eyes tired and uncomfortable. We often feel like we need to squint or our eyes ache. In the past, scientists studied things like how often we blink and yawn while looking at screens [1]. But our new research adds something new to the list: the glabellar length, where we're looking with our eyes and how far the screen is from our eyes. All these things together can help us better understand when our eyes are getting strained. Our main focus is to identify digital eye strain (DES) and remind people to take a short break when this happens in order to mitigate these issues.
