Power Spot Market Clearing Method Based on Market Value Distribution Mechanism Considers the Participation of Independent Energy Storage

In order to solve the problem of designing the clearing mechanism of independent energy storage in the spot market and enhance the initiative of independent energy storage to participate in the electricity market, a spot market clearing method based on the market value distribution mechanism was proposed to consider the participation of independent energy storage. The basic concept of market value distribution mechanism is introduced. Taking the substitution benefit of independent energy storage in spot market as its clearing standard, an independent energy storage spot market clearing algorithm based on market value distribution mechanism is constructed. This algorithm evaluates the benefit of independent energy storage to optimize the cost of electricity purchase by comparing the cost changes of all online electricity purchase before and after the call of independent energy storage. If independent energy storage helps to improve the trading benefits of the whole network, the charging and discharging plan of independent energy storage will be cleared; Otherwise, the independent energy storage charging and discharging plan cannot be cleared. Finally, an example is given based on the actual grid data of a province to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. The numerical results show that compared with the traditional self-scheduling mode, the proposed method can guarantee the income of independent energy storage and enhance its market trading enthusiasm.
