Design and Research of Test System for Large Reaction Area Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell

High power density is the development trend of proton exchange membrane fuel cells, and increasing the reaction area is one of the main means to achieve high power density. To systematically study the influence of temperature, equivalence ratio, relative humidity and gas back pressure on the power generation performance of proton exchange membrane fuel cells. This paper analyzes the problems in the test of large reaction area single proton exchange membrane fuel cells and builds a test system that can realize its performance test. The system is used to carry out the power generation performance of the membrane electrode, and through the sensitivity test, the best operating point of the inner membrane electrode in the test range is determined. The power generation performance of the membrane electrode assembly was tested using this system. And the optimal operating point of the membrane electrode within the test range was determined by sensitivity testing.
