Model of Ambipolar Processes in Cumulative- Dissipative Self-Focusing Structures in Plasma—Part 2: Classification of Ambipolar Drifts With Current in the Zeroth Approximation According to the Vysikaylo’s Perturbation Theory

The impact of forces on certain plasma components leads to the formation of an ambipolar drift of plasma structures as a whole and the formation of various transient profiles of plasma parameters (electric field strength
${E}$
, electron concentration
$n_{e}$
, concentration of positively and negatively charged ions
$n_{+}$
and
$n_{-}$
, and so on). This is due to the generation of internal electric fields that carry out the coupling of charged plasma components into a single nonlocal 4-D whole. In part 1 of this work, the author constructed a theory of perturbations in plasma with current and proposed a model of the transfer processes in Vysikaylo’s cumulative-dissipative self-focusing structures. On the basis of this perturbation theory, we will for the first time carry out a detailed classification of ambipolar plasma drifts (determining the profiles of the electric field and the concentration of charged plasma particles) due to: 1) weak violation of electrical neutrality and inhomogeneity of charged plasma particles; 2) inhomogeneity (nonlocality) of the electric field and concentrations of charged plasma particles; and 3) the presence of magnetic field and other external influences on charged particles (pumping of neutral gas, the presence of a gravitational field, and so on).
