A Method of Snoring Symptoms Monitoring in People Helps Diagnose Related Diseases

Frequent snoring state has relation to several health problems including stroke, cardiovascular diseases, overweight and obesity, headaches, sleep apnea, etc. Nowadays, most medical facilities in Vietnam uses polysomnography machine to record people's snoring while sleeping. However, this equipment is quite expensive and must be imported from abroad. This article presents a method for monitoring snoring in humans that aids in diagnosing related diseases. Specifically, we researched the design of a module to record people's snoring sounds while sleeping. The data is stored in the memory card and can also be passed to one or some mobile equipment such as smartphones or laptops via Wi-Fi communication. Doctors can rely on recorded data to analyze and draw relevant diagnostic conclusions. The module is designed to be simple, not bulky, easy to use, and easy to carry or wear on the body.
