Digital Instrument Keyboard Inspection System Using Algorithm

Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, there are more cases of non-face-to-face activities, and more cases of enjoying hobbies in an indoor independent space. Among electronic musical instruments whose demand has increased, digital pianos are also often used in individual homes. In the case of digital pianos, manual visual inspection is often performed during inspection, so they have a slow production speed. The method proposed in this paper can improve productivity and increase data utilization by automating the inspection process using an inspection system equipped with vision camera, sensor, and cylinder. When a piano is inspected using the system, defects are quickly detected and inspection accuracy is improved, thereby reducing costs and improving productivity. It becomes possible to monitor the process status using big data. Using the proposed method, a 40percent time reduction over manual inspection can be achieved and big data can be placed in a high position.
